Arwyn enjoys capturing the colour, form and sense of spaciousness evoked by the beautiful countryside of the Derbyshire Peak District. Never a prisoner of technique, he seeks to use colour to reinforce the immediacy of those first impressions that hold our gaze. By accentuating the natural forms of nature – particularly those elements caught in a play of light – he recreates scenes with a heightened sense of depth. |
